Kochi: The CPM-led government in Kerala has moved the Supreme Court challenging President Droupadi Murmu sitting on four bills passed by the state assembly, media reports said.
Kerala has said that the bills were withheld without any ground.
The state also blamed Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan for withholding the bills for a long period before sending them to the President.
The Left government said that withholding of the bills passed by the Kerala Legislative Assembly was impacting the state’s jurisdiction and disrupting the federal structure of the Constitution, the reports said.
