Kochi: India will be forced to make a surgical strike if Pakistan resorts to adventurism in Kashmir, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said on Thursday.
‘India will not tolerate violence against it. If Pakistan continues to violate the border and continue facilitating cross-border terrorism, India will not hesitate to make more strikes on Pakistan,’ Shah said in the wake of recent attacks on common people in Jammu and Kashmir.
The surgical strike devised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the former defense minister Manohar Parikkar was a major decision to bring an end to terrorism and intruders, media reports quoting Shah said.
‘There was a time when India tried to solve problems with Pakistan through talks. But now it is the time to retaliate,’ he said while speaking at a function organised in connection with the laying of the foundation stone for the National Forensic Science University at Dharbandora in Goa.
