Kochi: Former Students’ Federation of India (SFI) activist, K Vidya, accused of forgery, was arrested, media reports said.
She is reported to be arrested in Kozhikode after a case was registered against her about a fortnight back, the reports said.
The case was registered against for allegedly producing a fake experience certificate for securing a job in Government Arts College in Attapadi Palakkad, the reports said.
The case was over allegedly fabricating the experience certificate to claim that she had experience in Ernakulam Maharaja’s College.
The Agali police were investigating the case registered based on the Principal of the Government Arts College in Attapadi where she had applied for a job, the reports said.
The Kerala High Court had adjourned the hearing of the anticipatory bail plea of Vidya to next week.
In her plea, Vidya claimed that the case is fabricated for political gain, the reports said.
Another case is pending against her registered by Neeleswaram police on a complaint lodged by the Government Arts and Science College, Karinthalam, for submitting a fake experience certificate, the reports said.
