Kochi: CPM leader and former Kerala Devaswom Minister Kadakampally Surendran, MLA, and Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB)former president P S Prasanth were grilled by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the Sabarimala gold loot case, media reports said.
Surendran confirmed that his statement was recorded last week, as he was the Devaswom Minister when the alleged loss of gold from Sabarimala temple occurred.
The SIT reportedly questioned P S Prasanth, former president TDB.
The two former TDB presidents were among the SIT 10 people arrested in the case. The High Court of Kerala constituted SIT to probe the case related to the loot happening in 2019.
