Kochi: Former off spinner Harbhajan Singh, IIT Physics professor Sandeep Pathak, and educationist Ashok Kumar Mittal have been spotted for Rajya Sabha as AAP candidates.
The name of Krishna Pran Breast Cancer Care Charitable Trust founder Sanjeev Arora is also doing the rounds for Upper House seat.
There are five seats vacant from Punjab for the Upper House where AAP’s strength will go up from three to eight.
Names of the nominees have to be given before the last date on March 21 for April 2 elections.
Pathak had stayed in Punjab for the last few years to build up the AAP in the state where BJP, Congress and Shiromani Akali Dal were prominent players.
Chadha is MLA of Delhi assembly and was assigned to take care of Punjab.
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had won 92 out of 117 seats in the house in the recent elections.
