JeM train women in PoK

Kochi: Five thousand women of Pakistan terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) are reportedly getting trained to carry out suicide missions as claimed by JeM chief Masood Azhar, India Today reported.
The women’s Jamaat-ul-Mominat, headed by Masood Azhar’s sister Saeeda, is aimed at reinforcing the terrorist group’s presence.
Masood Azhar revealed it in a recent social media post detailing the growing reach of Jamaat-ul-Mominat.
He called for setting up of district-level organisations across Pakistan-occupied Kashmir to facilitate their recruitment and training.
A Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) commander has admitted that the family of the terror group’s chief Masood Azhar suffered heavily during Operation Sindoor carried out on May 7 on the outfit’s headquarters in Bahawalpur in Pakistan.
JeM commander Ilyas Kashmiri can be heard in a viral video on a YouTube channel fuming over the Indian attack.
The Kashmiri is reportedly speaking in Urdu at the Mission Mustafa Conference in Pakistan’s Punjab province on September 6.
“To protect the ideological and geographical boundaries of this country, we hit … Delhi, Kabul and Kandahar.
India carried out Operation Sindoor
Tensions between India and Pakistan after terrorists from Pakistan killed 26 people, mostly civilians, in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam on April 22.
India struck on the terror targets, including Bahawalpur, a stronghold of the JeM terror group, on May 7 during Operation Sindoor.
Bahawalpur became the hub of the JeM after the release of Azhar in exchange for the hijacked passengers of IC-814 in 1999.
The United Nations designated Azhar a “global terrorist” in 2019.
The group was involved in a series of terror attacks in India, including the Parliament attack in 2001, the strike on the Jammu and Kashmir assembly in 2000, the attack on the IAF base in Pathankot in 2016 and the Pulwama suicide bombing in 2019, India Today said.
