Kochi: Months after remaining closed, movie theatres were thrown open to film buffs across the state with Thrissur celebrating release of Dulquer Salman starred ‘kurup’. The cultural capital of the state, Thrissur has to its credit state’s first theatre Jose and rightly the city saw Dulquer fans making the occasion memorable.
The crime thriller movie based on the murder of a film representative Chacko allegedly by Sukumara Kurup in 1984 is booked for a week. As only theatres are half filled due to COVID restrictions, there is a heavy rush to get a ticket in the coming weeks. The film was released after remaining in the shadows of suspense for a long time due to COVID restrictions.
Produced by Dulquer Salman, the film is directed by Sreenath Rajendran.
