Kochi: A few months after surving a near fatal car mishap, Rishabh Pant led India to a classical 6-run win against Pakistan in WT20 setting examples of courage and confidence.
Pant hit the highest of 42 in a low scoring match of 119 all out against the traditional rivals in a meticulous manner after recovering from the major road mishap about 18 months back.
Chasing the target of 120, Pakistan could reach only113 losing 7 wicketsPant mercilessly banged Haris Rauf, Imad Wasim, Mohammad Amir and Naseem Shah in his fiery in his 42 off 31 balls.
Pant took three catches behind the stumps to see Pakistan lose wickets in quick succession.
