Kochi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi was the most popular person in Israel, its Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said on Tuesday. In a gesture that surprised even Indian Prime Minister, Bennett offered an invitation to Narendra Modi to join his party. During a bilateral meeting between the two on the sidelines of the ongoing climate summit in Glasgow, Naftali was heard saying these things to Modi who burst into laughter in response to it.
Bennett became Prime Minister of Israel in June this year. The two discussed expanding cooperation in different areas.
