Kochi: Congress President Sonia Gandhi has been diagnosed with Covid 19 infection for the second time.
This was disclosed by Party General Secretary Jayaram Ramesh who is also incharge of media communications, media reports said.
As per covid protocol Sonia Gandhi is in isolation, he said.
The 75-year-old leader was affected by Covid 19 in June last and was in Sir Gangaram Hospital from June 12 to 20.
Her daughter Priyanka Gandhi was tested positive only recently. The country reported 15,815 new cases of Covid 19 infections and 68 fatalities.
The active caseload has gone up to 1,19,264.
