Kochi: The Syro-Malabar Church hierarchy has direcrected implementation unified Mass in all the churches coming under its ambit.
Disobedience to the Pope will bring expulsion from the Catholic Church fold, the church warned.
Unified Mass was approved by the synod of bishops of the Syro-Malabar Church in November 1999 and was accepted unanimously in August 2021 and was to be implemented from November 28, 2021.
A circular in this regard will be read out in all the churches on January 21.
