Kochi: Three persons including a school were killed, and five injured when an earth-laden tipper lorry ploughed through a bus stop in Kollam in Kerala on Tuesday.
The victims Parthipan, 15, Harilal, 54, and Ajayakumar, 50, were brought dead to Kottarakkara Taluk Hospital.
Some of the victims were trapped under the earth that fell on them.
Three of the seriously injured were shifted to a private hospital in Kollam for specialised treatment, Police said.
The seriously injured were identified as Rishabh, 15, Kaushik, 15, and Nizam, 40.
