Kochi: A red discarded suitcase containing body parts of an unidentified woman found in a train at Agra has led police to a house in Chennai where the remaining body parts were found in a rented house.
Police suspect that the victim might have been killed and dismembered at the house rented by two suspects at Guduvanchery in Chennai, media reports said.
The victim’s body was allegedly found hanging from the ceiling, some parts kept inside a large vessel.
Police have seized CCTV visuals of a man and a woman carrying a red suitcase at Chennai Central railway station before discarding it in the New Delhi bound Tamil Nadu Express bound.
The identity of the woman who was murdered is yet to be established.
The body remains have been sent for post-mortem examination.
