Kochi: Security for Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been beefed up following a threat to target him during his visit to Kerala next week, media reports said. BJP Kerala chief K Surendran has received the anonymous letter threatening a suicide attack on Modi, the reports said. The letter in Malayalam warned about the attack using suicide bombers, the reports said. Surendran has lodged a complaint based on which the police started investigation. Modi is scheduled to participate in a road show and a youth summit on April 24 at Kochi. He will flag off Vande Bharat Express Train from Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway station and launch Kochi water metro on April 25.
