Speedster Sreesanth booked

Kochi: Speedster S Sreesanth has been booked in a cheating case which he dismissed and said that he was planning to move court against it, media reports said.
Police had registered the case in Kannur in Kerala against cricketer Sreesanth and two others on the charges of cheating a person for
₹18.7 lakh for the construction of a project at Kollur in Karnataka.
The complainant Sareesh Balagopalan alleged that the money was taken on different occasions from 2019.
He claimed that the construction of the project was not started and the accused refused to redeem his investment.
“I would like to address a matter that requires clarification. There is currently false information being spread about me. I want to emphasize that these claims are completely unfounded, and I have no involvement with them whatsoever,” Sreesanth on X, (Twitter).
A member of the two World Cups winning team, Sreesanth has retired from all forms of domestic cricket. His career was hit due to many controversies including spot-fixing and brawl, the reports said.
