Kochi: Tamil superstar Vijay launched his political party ‘Thamizhaga Vettri Kazhagam’ ‘TVK Vijay’ on Friday, media reports said.
He formally submitted an application to register the party with the Election Commission of India (ECI), the reports said.
The party will only contest in the Assembly Elections of 2026. It will not contest in the Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
The party will not support anyone in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections in 2024.
The actor said he will allocate full time in politics after quitting films, the reports said.
