Kochi: The second MP senior school level football tournament organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) in association with Thodupuzha Soccer School (TSS) was inaugurated by Dean Kuriakose, MP, at Thodupuzha.
NYK district officer Sachin C presided. while Thodupuzha Soccer School director P A Saleemkutty delivered the welcome address.
Pratheeksha Bhawan principal Honey V Francis delivered the keynote address.
Jaico Jewellery manager Shyju felicitated.
Kerala Football Association Executive Committee member Jose Pullicken, district football association treasurer Abraham Abhijit K M, spoke.
Coach Amal V R gave a vote of thanks.
Fourteen teams are taking part in the event.
Final teams will be given cash awards and trophies by Jaico jewellery and trophy.
Winners will be honoured with Rs 10,000 while the runner up will get Rs 5000 and certificates.
