Kochi: All is not well in Congress in Kerala where senior Congress leader Adoor Prakash, MP, is stuck to his criticism of Chief Minister V D Satheesan of Congress-led front.
Whatever he had said against Satheesan was based on his own experience and not under the guidance of anyone, Prakash told reporters.
The Congress led front has met only once in the last four months, Prakash said, adding that the matter will be brought before the party central leadership.
Prakash clarified that he was not against giving assignments to those like M K Muneer of Muslim and G Devarajan of Forward Bloc who are leaders with calibre.
Prakash said that the decision to appoint them was taken without the concurrence of UDF.
He made it clear that he had no differences with the Chief Minister who he had flayed on Thursday for not informing the government’s key decisions to Adoor Prakash as UDF Chief.
Prakash lamented he came to know most of the decisions of the government “through the media.
He took objections to the government keeping him in dark over the decision to appoint IUML leader M K Muneer as chairman of the State Administrative Reforms Commission and Forward Bloc leader G Devarajan as the State government’s representative in New Delhi with Cabinet rank.
