Kochi: Congress landed in soup after it deleted a post published by its Kerala unit on X seeking resignation of Chief Justice of India.The Central leadership sprung into action to back out from the statement which has put Congress in a tight spot.Earlier, the I.N.D.I.A bloc led by Lok Sabha Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi took out a march to meet the Chief Justice of India in Delhi where the protesters were stopped from proceeding further.Meanwhile, flaying the Congress’, BJP national spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari described the opposition party as “anarchist…”This is a big insult to the Constitution of India, he posted on the X. The Congress is threatening the Chief Justice of India. The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) and the Supreme Court Advocates-on-Record Association (SCAORA) have condemned the statements.Such remarks belittle the institution of the judiciary and amount to an attempt to interfere with the administration of justice, a resolution of October 12, 2026 said. “Statements of this nature belittle the institution of the judiciary and amounts to an attempt to interfere with the administration of justice,” the resolution stated.
