Kochi: Disproportionate assets case convict and former DGP Tomin J Thachankary has been allocated number 475 in the Poojapura Central Jail in Thiruvananthapuram.
Thachankary has been housed in the Hospital block of the jail as he is suffering from health problems, On Manorama reported.
Thachankary, who was brought to the jail hospital straight from Kottayam, will avail of cot facility and white shirt and dhoti.
Menu will be decided as directed by the doctors. He will be moved to the cell only after getting clearance from doctors attending him. He may be referred to Medical College or General Hospital as directed by the doctors.
There is fear of other inmates in the jail causing harm to Thachankary who was a top police official.
He will not get cot facility once he is moved to the cell where he will have to sleep on the floor.
