Kochi: Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan flayed Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan for directing the SFI to organise protests at three places in Thiruvananthapuram on Monday.
Miffed over the protests, the Governor got down from his car and dared the protestors who took to their heels.
Alleging that he was not provided enough security, the Governor asked would anyone dare to go anywhere near the Chief Minister’s vehicle.
Khan alleged that the protestors slammed on the window screen of his vehicle. He alleged that attempts were made to harm him by the ‘’goondas’. Governor Khan has been facing statewide protests from CPM’s Students Federation of India (SFI) over controversial appointments to the senates of universities.
He said a similar situation was created in Kannur about four years back during History Congress.
