Kochi: In a major decision, the Kerala University moved a resolution against Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan for not appointing university nominee in a panel to select the Vice Chancellor.
The resolution sought action against the Vice Chancellor Mahadevan Pillai who kept silent during the senate meeting.
The decision was undemocratic, unilateral and illegal as it violated the 10 (1) rule of the university, it said.
The resolution demanded the governor to cancel the panel.
