Kochi: India won the second ODI against Zimbabwe by five wickets to lift the three match series 2-0 at the Harare Sports Club at Zimbabwe today.
India won the toss and put Zimbabwe into bat. Zimbabwe crumbled before India ‘s attack at 161 runs in 38.1 runs. Only S Williams managed to counter India’s attack and scored 42 runs while R Bura was 39 not out.
For India Shardul Thakur claimed three wickets.
India made the required 167 runs, losing just five wickets in 25.4 overs. Sanju Samson remained unbeaten with 43 runs. Shikhar Dhawan and Shubhman Gill made 33 runs each.
For Zimbabwe L Longwe took two wickets.
