Kochi: Diplomatic baggage gold smuggling accused Swapna Suresh has claimed that Kerala Chief Minister’s former Principal Secretary M Sivasankaran and an accused in some cases had married her in a temple in Chennai.
She claimed that he tied mangalsutra, a necklace around her neck and applied Sindoor, a red powder on the hairline, marking the culmination of marriage, she said in her autobiography ‘chathiyude padmavyooham’,
(Trap of betrayal).
Sivasankaran had married her when he was on an official visit outside the state, she said.
Sivasankaran was suspended after central investigation agencies questioned him in Gold smuggling, Life Mission apartments for poor corruption case among others.
Except for a former minister, nobody had made passes on her. The leader, who was an active visitor to the UAE consulate, had invited her to join him in the hotel, she said in the book published by Current Books, Thrissur.
Swapna said that she had all the evidence to prove her allegations and that she had handed over them to the investigating agencies. She has also made charges against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, his daughter, jail DIG Ajay Kumar which was deposed before the magistrate.
