Kochi: Four suspected steel bombs were unearthed near Kottaram Road Junction in Kozhikode on Thursday afternoon.
The objects lay near a car parked on the roadside. A police team rushed to the spot after being alerted by people, On Manorama reported.
The police bomb squad were conducting an examination to see if they were explosive material.
Police are also expected to examine the circumstances in which the objects were abandoned at the spot and whether they are connected to any previous incident.
