Kochi: President Droupadi Murmu will visit Sabarimala for offering prayers on October 22, media reports said.
The President is coming on a two-day trip to Kerala ending October 24.
Murmu is scheduled to arrive at Cochin International Airport on October 22 and proceed to Nilakkal.
After visiting the temple, she will travel to Thiruvananthapuram the same day.
Police have already assessed necessary security arrangements for her visit. The temple opens on October 16 for pujas on the first of Malayalam month of ‘Thulam’.
The President was planned to visit the temple in May, but it was canceled due to tensions between India and Pakistan.
