Kochi: The ED has demanded booking former Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan of CPM, daughter Veena, her husband Mohammed Riyas, MLA, for Money laundering and bribery including Rs. 3.28 crore allegedly obtained by Vijayan.
A report submitted by the ED to DGP cited proof quoting former CMRL CFO P Suresh’s admission of paying a bribe of Rs 3.28 crore to Pinarayi.
The ED also named his son-in-law Mohammed Riyas of receiving bribes and transferring them to Dubai through wife Veena Thaikandiyil and known associates.
Veena assisted father and husband, Directorate of Enforcement (ED) said in its 25 pages report, Asianet news reported.
