Kochi: The Supreme Court rejected the plea of Congress leader Mathew Kuzhalnadan, MLA, seeking a vigilance probe against Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on alleged financial deals between his daughter’s IT firm and Cochin Minerals and Rutile Ltd.
The Apex Court refused to intervene in the matter and directed not to drag political issues into the court.
Kuzhalnadan had challenged the verdict of Kerala High Court which had rejected a similar plea from him.
Kuzhalnadan had sought a probe into the alleged financial transactions between T Veena’s now defunct Exalogic Solutions Ltd and Cochin Minerals and Rutile Ltd (CMRL), Asianet News reported.
T Veena in an affidavit before Kerala High Court rejected the allegation that now defunct Exalogic Solutions Pvt Ltd, was a benami firm.
