Kochi: An intensive search was being carried out to locate the body of the fifth army man on board the helicopter that crashed in Arunachal Pradesh.
Bodies of four members have been retrieved from the mountains in Upper Siang district where the crash took place, media reports said.
The Advanced Light Helicopter (ALH) carrying five army men was on a regular flight when the crash occurred on Friday about 35 kms from the Chinese border, the reports said.
The cause of the crash is being investigated.
The weather was good and the pilots were well experienced. The Air Traffic Control had received a distress message from the helicopter which was inducted in June 2015, the reports quoting army sources said.
