Kochi: Suspended ex CPM MLA S Rajendran held talks with some BJP leaders who called on him at his residence in Munnar in Idukki today.
Senior state BJP leaders including central area president Hari, Kerala BJP party vice president Prameela Devi held talks with him.
The meeting comes at a time when reports of BJP leaders meeting CPM powerhouse E P Jayarajan took the state by storm.
Rajendran said that the meeting was not political. Rajendran had met Prakash Javadekar in Delhi some days back.
He was elected to Kerala assembly in 2006, 2011 and 2016. Rajendran, a heavyweight in Idukki, was suspended for anti-party works during the 2021 assembly election.
