Kochi: An Iranian boat was seized by the Indian Coast Guard off the west coast in Koyilandy near Kozhikode on Sunday, media reports said
Six Indian fishermen hailing from Kanyakumari were taken into custody from the boat. They had gone to Iran to work as fishermen for an agency in Iran. They were escaping from Iran due to poor working conditions. The boat exhausted its fuel and had strayed into Koyilandy, the reports said.
