Kochi: Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke was slapped while his party was participating in a protest in support of its demands in Jaipur in Rajasthan on Monday.
It held a demonstration at the Shaheed Smarak in Jaipur demanding among other things the resignation of Pradhan on NEET bungling, NDTV reported.
Reacting to the assault, Dipke posted on X that the CJP will not be deterred and will continue to hold peaceful protests.
Police officials said six people have been detained and are being questioned at the Vidhayakpuri police station.
The party had declared during a protest in Delhi on June 6 that it will organise demonstrations across the country seeking Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resignation on NEET issue.
