Kochi: Former Government Chief Whip P C George was arrested on charges of sexually assaulting a woman, media reports said.
The complainant accused George of inviting the woman to the guest house in Thycaud on February 10 where she was allegedly abused.
There are allegations that George sent
inappropriate messages to her.
An audio clip of conversation purportedly between the complainant and George had become viral a few days back.
George also landed in trouble while provoking a woman journalist while answering her question.
This is the third time George is being arrested. On the first two occasions he was arrested in connection with making objectionable remarks against the minority community.
