Kochi: A septuagenarian father has commended police for killing his criminal son Prince in an encounter in Vaishali in Bihar, media reports said.
Nand Kishor Singh, 70, defended police action in killing his son Prince who was accused of 31 crimes including looting of gold jewellery from showrooms and banks.
Singh said he tried to reform Prince who ignored everyone’s advice due to which the family disowned him.
Singh had once requested the top police officers of the state police to kill him as his unlawful activities had earned disrepute for the entire family.
He was accused of involvement in looting 56 kg of gold in West Bengal, 55 kg of gold from Bihar and 24 kg from Rajasthan, 16 kg of gold from Katni in Madhya Pradesh and 18 kg from Dehradun.
