Kochi: Israel attacked Iran, announced Israel’s defence minister.
Iran Media reported explosions in Tehran, Hindustan Times reported.
The aggression was launched as a preventative attack against Iran.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump described Iran as “very difficult” and “very dangerous”. The third round of negotiations between Iran and the US took place in Geneva on Thursday. Another round of talks will be held later on Saturday amidst tense ties between Iran and the US over Tehran’s nuclear programme.
Sirens sound across Israel
Sirens were sounded across Israel at the same time. The Israeli military said that it had issued a “proactive alert to prepare the public for the possibility of attack by Iran.
