Kochi: Former government Chief Whip P C George was granted bail by a court in Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala today.
The court granted bail to George on condition that he should cooperate with the investigation officers.
Talking to reporters George’s lawyer said that the long delay made by the complainant to lodge the complaint was questionable.
He said that the alleged crime had taken place on February 10.
Later, talking to reporters P C George accused Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan of having unholy relations with real estate agent and industrialist Faris Abubaker.
He alleged that initially the real estate operations were early centred in Chennai and later moved to the US. He alleged that Pharis was controlling the investments of Pinarayi.
George also made allegations against Veena Vijayan.
He urged the Centre and ED to investigate the issues.
He said that he would go all out against Pinarayi Vijayan in the coming days.
George sought apology for speaking in the wrong way with a woman journalist as he was disturbed due to the arrest earlier in the day.
