Heavy polls in Kerala,Assam Puducherry

Kochi: About 78.60 polling was recorded in assembly elections for 140 seats in Kerala until 5 pm today.
Nemom recorded highest polling of 80 per cent.
Polling booths across the State showed a steady flow of voters from the word go.
A total of 2.71 crore voters are voting this time through 30,495 after revision of voters’ list due to SIR.
A total of 883 candidates are in the fray.
Puducherry recorded over 86 percent and Assam 84 percent. Voting is held for 126 seats in Assam and 30 in Puducherry.
