P C George, Son flay a section of Church

Kochi: BJP Kerala vice president Shaun George and his father P C George have flayed the Catholic Church for slighting BJP despite supporting the Church during problems.
Shaun said during the last two years neither the Left front nor the Congress front did anything for the Church.
Shaun said that if the Church is against his party then he too will have to go against the Church.
What benefits the Church got from Kerala Congress leader Jose K Mani and Congress leader K C Venugopal.
Shaun, who is a BJP candidate from Pala constituency, said FCRA bill was kept in abeyance due to his pressure.
P C George strongly alleged that a section of the Church had campaigned against him in the polls.
Talking to reporters in Kottayam, George alleged that a bishop had directed nuns in convents to vote for the UDF in the election.
George, who is a candidate from Poonja described such things as condemnable.
George said Union Home Minister Amit Shah had assured that the bill would not cause any difficulty and would only require disclosure of foreign funding details for approval.
He praised the Bishop of Pala for not issuing any directive to vote for any party.
