Kochi: Two youths were killed after consuming illicit liquor at Irinjalakuda in Thrissur. Nishant, 43, died yesterday while Biju, 42, died today at Thrissur Medical College.
The two consumed the suspicious drink at a shop owned by one of them, media reports said.
After the two collapsed, they were rushed to taluk hospital where Biju died.
After this Nishant was taken to Thrissur Medical College where Nishant died today morning.
The police are enquiring into the matter. The sample of the drink has been sent to the government laboratory at Kakkanad.
