Kochi: India beat Pakistan by 61 runs to qualify for the Super 8 stage of the T20 World Cup 2026
at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
Winning the toss, Pakistan sent India into bat first and made 175 for 7.
In reply, Pakistan was all out for 118 in 18 overs.
Ishan Kishan top scored with 77 runs.
U Khan made 44 for Pakistan.
S Ayub claimed three wickets for Pakistan while Bumrah, Pandya, Axar and Varun took two wickets each for India.
Once again, there was no handshake between Suryakumar Yadav and Salman Agha.
