Kochi: Poor fielding cost India the T-20 match against Pakistan who won the match by 5 wickets in the Asia Cup in Dubai International Stadium.
Winning the toss, Pakistan decided to bowl and found it tough to tackle openers K L Rahul and Rohit Sharma who laid a commendable score by hitting 28 each.
Regaining his form, former captain Virat Kohli hit a brilliant 60 but failed to hit big shots in the dying overs. India made a respectable 181 for seven.
For Pakistan, S Khan took two wickets while Hasnain, Rauf, Nawaz and Shah took one each.
Pakistan played confidently and steadily and hit the target in 19.5 overs making 182 losing just five wickets.
Except Bishnoi, India bowlers appeared ineffective. Kumar, A Singh, Chahal, Bishnoi and Pandya took one wicket each.
