Kochi: India won the third and final ODI against Bangladesh by 227 runs powered by fastest double hundred by Ishan Kishan and a long awaited century by Virat Kohli at Chittagong today.
Though India lost the series 2-1, the final match was equal to winning the series. Kohli’s 113 came after August 2019 to amass 409 for 8. Ishan, who replaced injured captain Rohit Sharma, banged 24 fours and 10 sixes.
Ishan broke the record of Chris Gayle of West Indies in making fastest double century in ODI.
Bangladesh won the toss and decided to bowl. The hosts were all out for 182 in 34 overs. Shakib Al Hasan scored 50 off 43 balls. Shardul took 3/30, Axar Patel (2/22) and Umran Malik (2/43).
