Kochi: India won the first of the three T20 matches against West Indies by six wickets at Eden gardens at Kolkata today.
Winning the toss, India decided to field.West Indies’ Pooran made 61 from 43 balls , K Mayenes 31 and Pollard 24 posting a total of 157 for 7.
In reply India made 162 for 4 in 18.5 overs.
Captain Rohit Sharma made 40, Ishan kishen 35, S Yadav 34, and V Iyer 25.
For India H Patel and R Bishnoi took two wickets each.
India is one up in the three match outing.
