Kochi: Noted Hindi actor Saif Ali Khan was stabbed in his house in Bandra in the wee hours of Thursday, media reports said.
The popular Bollywood star was stabbed at least six times by a suspected burglar who entered his in a burglary attempt.
Saif, who sustained two deep stab
injuries, was admitted to Lilavati Hospital at 3.30 am for surgery and was reportedly to be out of danger.
Khan, who saw the intruder in the house, might have tried to overpower the assailant who could have stabbed Khan, police said.
Saif is son of legendary cricketer late Nawab Ali Khan Pataudi and yesteryear Bollywood actress Sarmila Tagore.
