Kochi: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, wife and grandson left here on a 16-day private trip to places including Dubai on Monday, media reports said.
They are expected to meet his son and family in Dubai where his daughter Veena and son-in-law and PWD Minister Mohammad Riyas are already camping. They left here for Dubai a few days back.
Pinarayi and kin have plans to travel to Indonesia and Singapore. Riyas is on a break for 19 days.
Earlier, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) had given clearance for his foreign trip.
There is no official information about Pinaray’s trip as it is a private visit.
Vijayan had gone on a 12-day tour of the U.S, Cuba and UAE amidst strident criticism from opposition parties in June, 2023.
