N: A high class hotel owner Roy Joseph Vayalattu and his five employees were arrested on Wednesday in connection with the death of former Miss Kerala Ancy Kabeer, 25, former Miss Kerala runner up Anjana Shajan, 24, and another person the other day here.
The arrest was carried out for allegedly destroying the video clippings inside the No 18 Hotel in Fort Kochi where the deceased attended a night party.
Some top film personalities were believed to have attended the party, media reports said.
The deceased are said to have had a tiff in the party due to which they walked out if it in a huff and boarded a car which met with accident past midnight on Monday last, the reports said.
Shyju, the driver of the luxury car which followed the car carrying the deceased, told the police during interrogation that he was asked by Roy to persuade the deceased to return to the party.
Shyju had called up Roy after the accident.
When asked about the Digital Video Recorder, Roy surrendered one which did not contain anything pertaining to the night party.
