Kochi: Late Ratan Tata’s step brother Noel Tata has been elected as Tata group’s new chairman.
The decision was taken at a meeting on Friday morning following the demise of Ratan Tata, 86 on October 9.
Noel is a trustee in the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust and the Sir Ratan Tata Trust which own 66% of Tata Sons, the holding company of the Tata Group.
