Kochi : India won the T20 series 3-0 against Sri Lanka by six wickets at Dharamsala at Himachal Pradesh tonight.
Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to bat, but collapsed before India bowlers making 146 for 5.
D Shanka hit 74 not out for Sri Lanka to take the team to a respectable total of 146 for 5.
Avesh Khan took 2 for 23 for India.
Shreyas Iyer proved his inclusion in the team worthy by playing a respectable innings to score 73 not out.
Shreyas played confidently without any folly reaching the target in 16.5 overs.
L Kumar took 3 for 39 for Sri Lanka.
Shreyas was selected Man of the Match and man of the series.
