Kochi: In a major move, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has recovered gold from Govardhan in Bellary in Karnataka, Asianet News reported.
The gold was found from the jewellery shop of Govardhan where the SIT led by Shashidharan, SP, last evening.
The gold was found in bars weighing over 400 grams.
Gold coins were also recovered from the house Unnikrishnan Potti.
The SIT has also seized currency notes. Interrogation of Potti is continuing. Potti’s police custody will end on October 30.
