Kochi: A massive blaze is feared to have claimed many lives and injured several at a bar in Switzerland’s Crans Montana, NDTV reported.
The blaze struck the bar Le Constellation in the luxury Alpine ski resort town of Crans Montana during New Year’s celebrations at around 1.30 am local time (0030 GMT).
Over 100 People were at the bar.
The area has been completely closed off, and a no-fly zone has been imposed over Crans-Montana, the police said in a statement.
Swiss media suggested that the fire may have started when pyrotechnics were used during a concert, but police siad the cause was unkown.
